It's a foodie weekend up on the North Norfolk Coast this weekend, with local businesses coming together to showcase everything this incredible part of the world has to offer when it comes to its seafood. With the North Sea stretch around Cromer providing world renowned crab and lobster (I even have South African friends who are desperate to visit this stretch of the British coast as they've heard how amazing Cromer crab is), and the sun set to shine brightly, this couldn't be a more perfect way to spend your weekend.
The much loved event is running across both Saturday 20th May and Sunday 21st May, located on Evington Lawns (between the Sunshine Cafe on Cadogan Road and the rear of Crabstix Crazy Golf on Runton Road). The wider town is coming together though to celebrate the event and there's a seahorse trail across the whole town, with loads of local businesses building and showcasing their amazing seahorse statue artworks in their shop windows.
Saturday, from 10am - 5pm, there'll be stalls, cookery demonstrations, kids fun, heritage displays, live music and crab sandwiches. From 7.30pm - 10.30pm, they'll then be getting the party started with a picnic party in the festival marquee. You bring the picnic (which you'll be able to pick up from loads of amazing Cromer businesses if you don't want to bring your own) and they bring the party!
Sunday runs 10am - 4pm and there'll lots of stalls, more cookery demos, live music, crab sandwiches and fun for the kids.
If you're a foodie like me they've got loads of incredible chefs from lots of our restaurant favourites coming down to showcase the best of the best when it comes to seafood cooking. Just look this this line up đ

12noon - The Grove
1pm - Rocky Bottom
